What I like most about the law is…it is not defined. It is an art rather than a science.
When you need a lawyer …Always consider whether your attorney will take the time to consider your needs. Also, consider the expense involved. But under no circumstances should you consider “bargain basement” options.
In deciding between an out of court settlement and a trial, I consider…the client. A fully informed client will possess the information needed to make the right choice for him/herself.
My most rewarding case was…. A criminal case where we kept a teenage boy from being tried as an adult for a crime which carried a significant prison term. Instead, the case was sent to Juvenile division where he was able to receive the tools he needed to become a productive member of society.
My most disappointing case was… A criminal case that had been neglected by another attorney. By the time we were involved, it was virtually impossible to avoid a prison sentence.
I would describe Haupt Brooks Vandruff Cloar as…A versatile law firm. A law firm that is not afraid to accept a challenge. A law firm not afraid to invest its time and energy in the interests of our clients.
